1. Where/how did you meet? We met on the first day of school when I was in 9th grade (he was in 8th)

2. How long have you known each other? since that day in August of 1989 - almost 18 years

3. How long after you met did you start dating? The first time - 3 days. We broke up a month later and then got back together in March of 91. We were together until April 1993 and then we broke up until February 1994 and then we've pretty much been together since then.

4. How long did you date before you were engaged? from the first time we dated until our official engagement - 7 years

5. How long was your engagement? just over a year

6. How long have you been married? 10 years in July

7. What is your anniversary? July 26

8. How many people came to your wedding reception? the one after the wedding - about 80 people, the one back home about 2 weeks later which was an informal event - about 100

9. What kind of cake did you serve? at the wedding we had a white cake with a basket weave and daisies on the top - at the 2nd reception - a yummy white cake that my friend Jason's mom made

10. Where was your wedding? Maine

11. What did you serve for your meal? Chicken Acropolis

12. How many people were their in your bridal party? 3 on each side

13. Are you still friends with them all? Yes

14. Did you or your spouse cry during the ceremony? both of us - just about the whole time

15. Most special moment of your wedding day? The sunset

16. Any funny moments? oh so many... our minister - a dear, dear friend calling Dan's parents Tim and Tim was the one that stands out.

17. Any big disasters? Not really - just that my brother took the keys to the car that we were going to drive up this enormous hill. My bridesmaids and I start to hoof it instead and a friendly person offered us a ride. Dan disapeared for over an hour of our reception... but other than that... it was wonderful

18. Where did you go on your honeymoon? Maine, Pennsylvania and then Arizona when we moved

19. How long were you gone? Over a month...

20. If you were to do your wedding over, what would you change? I would have made it much less formal

21. What side of the bed do you sleep on? I always try to sleep on the side away from the door.

22. What size is your bed? currently a double - but our normal bed is a king

23. Greatest strength as a couple? We are very well suited for each others temperments

24. Greatest challenge as a couple? We need to find a way to talk to each other more often

25. Who literally pays the bills? Me

26. What is your song? We have many - but I think we consider "take my Breath Away" by Berlin

27. What did you dance your first dance to? See above

28. Describe your wedding dress? It was a white sleeveless Jessica McClintock. Very simple.

29. What kind of flowers did you have at your wedding? Daisies, daisies and more daisies

30. Are your wedding bands engraved? What do they say? Yep. My engagment ring says Semper Fi, my wedding band says Forever and his says & a day, and they have our wedding date.
